Rajan Govind
Rajan Govind is the Founding Director of BES Consultants, bringing over 34+ years of international experience in façade engineering and building envelope design. A structural engineer by training, he has delivered complex high-rise façade engineering projects across Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, with deep expertise in global façade systems, design standards, and construction methodologies.
He spent 12 years at Arup, leading landmark projects that integrated innovative façade design, structural engineering, and high-performance building envelope systems. His experience spans new developments and façade refurbishments, consistently delivering solutions that balance aesthetics, performance, and constructability.
A Certified Singapore Green Mark Manager (SGMM), Rajan specializes in sustainable façade engineering, focusing on energy-efficient and environmentally responsive building envelope solutions. His portfolio includes prestigious projects such as The Park (Mumbai), Brigade Tech Garden (Bengaluru), Pan Pacific Hotel (Singapore), Hong Ngoc International Hospital (Vietnam), and Wing Tower (Cambodia).
Mr.Rajan is known for driving innovation through 3D façade modelling, BIM, and parametric design, enabling optimized, cost-effective, and high-performance façade solutions. With strong international exposure and regional expertise, he is widely recognized as a leading façade consultant known for technical precision, innovation, and excellence in high-rise building envelope engineering.

Naveen Kumar
Naveen Kumar is an Associate at BES Consultants with over 20+ years of experience in façade engineering and building envelope design, bringing a strong blend of technical precision, digital innovation, and practical construction insight to every project. With international exposure from his 3 years at Arup’s Singapore façade team, he has worked on complex high-rise façade engineering projects aligned with global standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
A Mechanical Engineer with an industrial design background, Naveen specializes in high-performance façade systems, advanced geometry, and complex façade design, effectively bridging engineering precision with architectural creativity. His expertise enables the delivery of fully resolved, efficient, and buildable building envelope solutions tailored for modern high-rise developments.
He is highly proficient in 3D façade modelling and BIM tools including Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper, using them to develop parametric façade designs, modular systems, and fabrication-ready models. Known as a specialist design integrator, he translates visionary architectural concepts into technically robust, optimized, and high-quality façade systems.
Mr. Naveen has led and delivered landmark projects such as Nexus Mall (Bhubaneswar), Brigade Tech Garden (Bengaluru), The Park Lodha (Mumbai), and Trump Tower (Mumbai), showcasing his ability to manage large-scale façade engineering projects with intricate detailing and demanding performance requirements. Jeff Jia
With over 23 years of experience in façade design and implementation, Jeff is one of the most accomplished façade specialists in Singapore’s building industry. His extensive background includes 11 years at Arup, where he contributed to some of the region’s most technically demanding façade projects.
Trained in civil and structural engineering, Jeff possesses a deep understanding of building envelopes, structural glass, and architectural steelwork systems. His expertise spans the full spectrum of façade engineering — from conceptual design to fabrication and on-site implementation — with a strong command of international codes and best practices governing structural and façade design.
Based in Singapore, Jeff has been closely involved in numerous landmark developments, including Singapore Management University (SMU), National Museum of Singapore, and the Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore. His practical knowledge of façade fabrication, quality control, and site coordination enables him to effectively review contractor shop drawings, resolve complex interface issues, and ensure smooth on-site execution.
Jeff also specializes in existing building façade inspection, rectification, and replacement works, bringing valuable expertise in assessing long-term façade performance and safety. He is a BCA-certified Building Façade Inspector (BFI), qualified to perform professional façade assessments in accordance with Singapore’s regulatory standards.
