Kautilya Commercial, Viman Nagar, Pune is a modern commercial development by Malpani Group featuring a high-performance façade engineered with full floor-height glazing, horizontal sunshades, and recessed balcony glazing to enhance thermal efficiency and architectural aesthetics.
The design integrates DGU insulated glass units, curved corner glazing, and a unitized curtain wall system to optimise daylight, reduce heat gain, and deliver a premium building envelope. Multiple façade systems—including unitized strip glazing, ACP cladding, retail glazing, soffit cladding, spandrel glazing, and aluminium louver screens—have been evaluated as part of the preliminary concept report developed for the first design workshop. This façade strategy maximises energy efficiency, visual continuity, and long-term durability, aligning with best practices in sustainable façade engineering, modern commercial architecture, and high-performance building design.
