Bhogapuram Intl Airport, Andhra Pradesh 

Bhogapuram International Airport is a major airport development in Andhra Pradesh, featuring a new international terminal building with an extensive façade and roof system incorporating skylights. The scale of the terminal and its architectural design called for carefully planned façade systems that could accommodate large spans while maintaining the intended appearance of the building.

BES was appointed by L&T Construction to provide façade engineering and design services for the Main Terminal Building and Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower. The scope involved developing structural schemes for the terminal's façade steel vertical frames, working out suitable support arrangements, and detailing connections to integrate the façade system with the main steel building structure. BES also worked on the façade design requirements of the ATC Tower, which features a double-skin screen system with integrated lighting considerations. The assignment included detailed pre-construction designs and technical documentation to support the project's implementation.

Technical Highlights
