G+4 Research & Development Building | Pharmaceutical Research Facility

Lupin Research Park is a G+4 research facility developed for Lupin, a leading pharmaceutical company, featuring an iconic architectural design with high-quality finishes and contemporary façade materials.

BES provided comprehensive façade engineering and building envelope consultancy, covering building envelope design, building physics, thermal comfort, material selection, façade construction review, and quality control.

The project incorporated a diverse palette of modern materials, including stainless-steel woven mesh, HPL, natural stone and high-performance glazing. Leveraging its in-house expertise in materials science and façade engineering, BES worked closely with the architect and client to evaluate, develop and finalise appropriate material solutions, ensuring that aesthetics were supported by performance, durability and constructability.

A key feature of the project was the double-façade system incorporating stainless-steel mesh, glazing and maintenance gantries. BES developed and reviewed the façade design and detailing during the pre-construction stage, addressing interfaces, constructability and performance requirements before fabrication and installation.

BES also maintained stringent quality-control involvement throughout fabrication and site installation, with detailed reviews and inspections to ensure that the specified materials, workmanship, finishes and façade detailing were executed to the required standards.

The integration of advanced materials, carefully developed façade details and rigorous construction quality control resulted in a high-quality building envelope that successfully combines architectural expression, material innovation and technical performance.
