Mixed-Use Development | Retail, Shopping Mall & Office Façade Engineering

Elan Commercial, Sector 82, Gurugram is a landmark mixed-use development comprising a G+7 storey podium with integrated shopping mall and retail spaces, along with 15 upper floors of hotel and office use. The project features a contemporary architectural vision with multiple façade glazing systems and the introduction of innovative cladding materials, requiring advanced façade engineering and careful constructability assessment.

The façade design incorporates triple-height glazed spaces exceeding 20 metres, demanding sleek, elegant glazing systems with minimal supporting structures to achieve transparency and architectural refinement. Several façade zones utilise tall jumbo glass units, which require specially engineered slender structural frames to ensure safety, performance, and visual clarity. In addition, the use of new-generation cladding materials necessitated detailed technical evaluation to suit local climatic conditions, durability requirements, and long-term maintenance considerations.

Through rigorous façade engineering, material studies, and performance-driven detailing, the project delivers a high-performance commercial building envelope that balances aesthetics, structural efficiency, and buildability—aligning with best practices in modern commercial architecture and façade design in Gurugram.
