BES was appointed by Reliance Industries Limited to provide façade and skylight design consultancy for their existing G+5 storey corporate building at Reliance Corporate Park, Navi Mumbai. The building’s existing façade and roof glazing system had shown performance deterioration over time, prompting the client to initiate a comprehensive façade and skylight replacement program.

Scope of Work:

• Condition assessment and performance study of the existing façade and skylight systems
• Design and engineering for replacement of the large roof skylight (approx. 42 meters in diameter)
• Practical façade and glazing solutions aligned with existing structural limitations
• Construction-phase support and coordination

Project Challenges & Solutions:

Working within an operational corporate environment, BES adopted non-invasive inspection tools and techniques to minimize disruption to office operations. The skylight replacement involved complex structural and practical considerations, including adapting new glazing systems onto the existing steel support structures.

BES prepared detailed engineered designs and constructible solutions, integrating advanced design methodologies and practical on-site knowledge. The team’s multidisciplinary expertise—from façade design to implementation techniques—ensured successful completion of this technically demanding replacement project.
